What: Our May Kid’s Day is a day at the beach – literally! Did you know that ultra-low tides occur on our local beaches at certain moon phases in May and June? These tides expose an amazing variety of marine life. For Kid’s Day, we have a guided beach walk scheduled with a knowledgeable Beach Ranger during one of these ultra-low tides! Picnic tables and playground equipment are available nearby and families are already planning to stay after the walk to socialize and further explore the beach and shoreline.
How: Submit your registration and payment – of $2 per child – by April 30, 2011. The mini-mum number of children need for this event is twenty - avoid disappointment by registering early!
