Welcome Back to this school year. H.O.M.E. has a few new things coming this year, keep tuned to your inbox for all the exciting website changes, blogs, new homeschool helps, and much more. Our first H.O.M.E. outing this year will be a HIKE! Please bring friends, family, new homeschoolers, etc. This is a parent-led activity, and no transportation will be provided.

Date: August 9, 2011

Time: 10:30a.m.– when the hike is finished

Details: Denny Creek waterslides hike: 4 miles round trip. Suitable for all ages,
although the rocks are quite slippery, and sticks are advised for crossing parts of the trail. Updates on trail conditions will be emailed day before hike. We will meet at trail head at 10:30 AM. Northwest Forest Pass
required. This is a popular hike, and parking at trail head fills up quickly. Consider carpooling with a friend! Please email Karen Silva

silvatown@yahoo.com to RSVP and for further info.
