Free Parent Workshop on How to Create a Science Fair Project

 

Come join us for a night of fun and learning.  Kandis Brighton will conduct a workshop on how to create a science fair project.  Workshop topics include: The Benefits of a Science Fair Project, The Reluctant Science Student, The Scientific Method, The Engineering Method & How to Create a Science Fair Project.  She will also display various science project models. 

 

Kandis Brighton is a board member of the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair (WSSEF) and the director of the Washington Homeschool Science and Engineering Fair. She holds free workshops each fall on “How to Create a Science Fair Project”. 

 

She has a degree in math & Computer Science and worked in Software for 5 years before having children.  For the last 18 years Kandis has trained and homeschooled her five children, ages 10 to 18. In 2010 she received the Mary Haviland Science Teacher of the Year award at the state science fair.
